Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui is a Pakistani politician who is the current Mayor of Karachi. He was a member of the Senate of Pakistan from August 2017 to March 2018. On 30 April 2015, he was inducted into the provincial Sindh cabinet of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and was appointed as adviser to the Chief Minister on law. On 21 May 2015, he was given the status of minister.

It is situated at the southern tip of the country along the Arabian Sea coast and formerly served as the capital of Pakistan. Karachi is considered to be Pakistan’s most cosmopolitan city, and among the country’s most linguistically-, ethnically-, and religiously diverse regions, as well as one of the country’s most progressive and socially liberal cities.
