Niyazi Bayramov was born in 1956 and graduated from the Faculty of Law of Baku State University in 1980.
After serving in different positions, including as the head of the Mingachevir City Executive Power, he was appointed as the Head of Ganja Executive Power in 2018.
Ganja is Azerbaijan’s second-largest city, situated at the north-eastern foothills of the Lesser Caucasus mountain ranges.
Ganja has a rich history, serving as a cultural throughout most of its existence. The city is famous for the 12th-century Persian poet Nizami Ganjavi, who is among top literary figures of the region.
Located at the center of a rich farming area, Ganja has a economy based on agricultural products and cotton textiles. However, some industries are also in operation, including copper and aluminum processing.
