Behshahr city is one of the most famous and oldest cities of Mazandaran province, which is located in the easternmost part of this province. Behshahr is one of the most populated cities in Mazandaran province after the cities of Babol, Sari, Amol and Qaimshahr. This city leads from the north side to Miankale lagoon and bay, from the east side to Golugah city, from the west side to two cities of Sari and Neka, and finally from the south side to the slopes of Alborz and Damghan city.
