Badakhshan

Badakhshan city is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan, which is located in its northeast. This province is located 470 km from Kabul. The center of this city is Faizabad. The people of this province are mostly Tajik, followed by Pamir, Uzbek, Hazara, and Kyrgyz, and the common languages in this province are Farsi Dari, Pamir, Uzbek, and Kyrgyz. Badakhshan has been a source of lapis lazuli since ancient times and was also famous for its ruby mines.
