Badakhshan

Badakhshan is one of the provinces of Afghanistan, located in its northeastern part, with Fayzabad serving as its capital.

Badakhshan has an ancient history and has been the resistance cradle of Afghanistan during different periods of foreign invasion.

The province also has a diverse and rich culture due to different ethnicities such as Tajik, Pamir, Uzbek, Hazara, and Kyrgyz.
