Mayor of AMF member city of Bojnourd has addressed the UNESCO Heritage Cities Network Meeting at UCLG-MEWA Executive Bureau Meeting Program in Turkey’s Karatay.
In his online speech, Me. Mohamad Ali Keshmiri introduced the cultural heritage of his city and discussed the strategies the municipality has adopted to preserve the heritage during the sustainable development of the Iranian city.
Creating public interest, branding the city based on its cultural heritage, improving local tourism as well as reviving and redefining the use of historic sites were among the topics addressed in the speech.
