The “BRICS+ Association of Cities and Municipalities” has been founded in a ceremony in Russia’s Kazan with the participation of AMF.
The meeting, kicked off with an official ceremony and a message from Russian President Vladimir Putin, saw a speech by AMF SG Hamidreza Gholamzadeh on the necessity of forming such association and its key role in bolstering the inter-city ties between countries of BRICS+.
AMF is attending the event with a delegation of mayors from its member cities including Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, Tabriz, Ramsar, Kerman, Karmanshah and Arak.
